Frag eXecutors have claimed victory in the grand final of the Xperia PLAY 2011 competition. Fx were able to defeat SK-Gaming on de_dust2 16-13, and de_train 16-07. Fx will take home the cheque for just over 10,000 Euro and title of Xperia PLAY Champions 2011.

In the much anticipated final, de_dust2 would be the first map chosen to try and find a winner for Xperia PLAY 2011. SK got off to the better start being able to secure majority of the early rounds as terrorists. Fx were able to stage a nice comeback to end the half 10-5 in favour of SK.

SK would be disappointed giving away the last few rounds on the favoured terrorist side, and quickly make up for it and won the counter-terrorist pistol to move out to a 13-5 lead after the following eco rounds by Fx. In the all important first gun round Fx would come out on top and start to build some rounds up and take the match to 13-13 with four rounds remaining. Fx continued on their way winning a total of nine rounds in a row and took the first map 16-13.

On de_train, SK got off to a much needed good start and managed to win the knife round and the pistol as counter-terrorists. Fx eager to pick up where they left off on de_dust2 quickly went for the risky deagle round and it paid off. Fx won the round and went on to win the next six rounds. The half ended 9-6 in favour of Fx.

In the second half, Fx continued to pile on the pressure and quickly pushed out to 13-6 lead.  SK would only manage to win one more round in the competition, with Fx running out winners 16-7.
